2020…Chase had another great year for the Lights, proving he was again a force at 174.  Chase Short led the team in wins going 37-17 with 6 pins.  He was able to place 1st at the Trapper Open, 4th at the Spokane Open, 1st at the Battle of the Rockies, 5th at the Missouri Valley Invite and 6th at the Cascade Conference Championships.  His conference placing saw Short qualify for the NAIA National Championships for the second consecutive season where he went 2-2. 
2019…Chase had his break out season at 174 while going 25-15 on the season with 3 pins.  During the year, Chase placed 2nd at the Cowboy Open, 2nd at the Trapper Open, 1st at the Tyler Plummer and 2nd at the Cascade Conference Championships which solidified his first trip to the NAIA National Championships. 
2018…Chase compiled a record of 22-18 with 5 pins while competing at 174.  Chase placed 2nd at the Trapper Open, 4th at the Battle of the Rockies, 2nd at the Tyler Plummer Classic and narrowly missed qualifying for the NAIA National Championships by placing 5th at the Cascade Conference Championships.
