2022…During the 2021-22 season, Carl “Red” Hansen exceeded expectations once again.  He posted a season record of 21-12 with 9 pins.  Carl was 3rd at the Spokane Open, 1st at the Battle of the Rockies, 2nd at the Tyler Plummer Classic and 5th at the Cascade Conference Championships.  His 5th place standing was good enough to qualify Carl for his 2nd trip to the NAIA National Championships where he was 2-2.
2021…Carl Hansen may have been the surprise of the season as he posted a perfect dual meet record of 8-0 in 2020-21.  He was able to earn a qualifying spot via a unanimous decision by the Cascade Conference coaches.  At his first NAIA National Championships, Carl bested and pinned returning runner-up Riley Jaramillo of the University of Saint Mary.  Carl posted at season record of 9-2 for 2020-21. 
2020…Carl was pulled from redshirt after his teammate was out for the season due to injury.  While competing at 184, Carl placed 3rd at the Trapper Open and 1st at the Tyler Plummer Classic.  Carl came up big for the Lights in multiple duals and compiled a record of 7-9 with 1 pin during 2019-20.
HIGH SCHOOL…2x Nevada State Placer and State Champion going 1st and 3rd.
