The Northern Athletic Hall of Fame was founded in 1994 to honor persons who have made outstanding contributions to athletics at either Northern Montana College or Montana State University-Northern. This recognition preserves the memory of these individuals for their significant contributions to Northern Athletics.

The Hall of Fame committee meets at least once each year to consider nominations for election to the Athletic Hall of Fame.
