Stacie (Little) Barker was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and played high school basketball at Cottonwood High School. Stacie came to Northern in 2007 after attending the College of Eastern Utah, now Utah State University Eastern. She was a starter on the Skylights basketball team for three seasons. She has 670 career rebounds, 294 career blocks (an MSU-Northern record), and is the all-time leader in blocked shots per game in the NAIA with 4.97. She averaged a double-double for her career (10.9 points and 11.16 rebounds per game) and in her senior year had three triple-double games. She is a two-time First Team All-Frontier Conference player, two-time Frontier Conference Defensive Player of the Year, and in 2010 was named MSU-Northern’s first Women’s Basketball Coaches Association First Team All-American.Â

Stacie lives in Tooele, Utah, with her husband, Tysen, and their children. Stacie is a teacher in the Tooele County School District and is also Assistant Sports Director for the young women of her church and a youth leader for girls aged 8-11.
