Montana State Northern Lights & Skylights Athletics

A multi-sport athlete, Sue Gorton was an All-Conference volleyball and basketball player for the Northern Skylights and received All-District honors in basketball her senior year. A business major with a 3.25 grade point average, Gorton also received All-Conference Academic honors. As Skylight captain, she led her team to both Frontier Conference and district titles. In nominating Gorton, teammate Katie Heath stated "I believe the winning tradition Skylight athletics has built is a direct result of student athletes like Sue."

Gorton has been in retail management with Herberger's Department Stores in Kalispell for the past ten years. As an employee of a pacesetter company for United Way, she participates in the annual campaign and has served on the Citizen's Review Panel. Sue enjoys playing volleyball, basketball and skiing in the Flathead Valley.
