Chris Faber was a three time NAIA All-American in 1990, 1991, and 1992, placing eighth at 134 pounds at Nationals in 1990 when the Northern team was the National Runner up. He captained the team to back to back National Team Championships in 1991 and 1992 and was a National Runner up at 134 pounds during both years. Faber was a member of the 1990 USA All-American Cultural Exchange Team touring the Soviet Union and Finland. Featured on the cover of USA Wrestling News Magazine, he was a National Wrestling Coaches Association Academic All-American in 1990, 1991, and 1992. Faber received a Student Excellence Award in 1992 and graduated that year from Northern Montana College with a degree in Business Technology.
