Keith Evenson graduated from NMC in 1967 where he was a member of the 1967 men's golf team that went undefeated in Frontier Conference play and lost only two matches the whole season, taking the Frontier Conference golf crown. The team earned their way to the national tournament in often took individual honors at meets throughout that season. He has since been active in the Havre golf community, establishing a golf program at Havre Middle School and serving as the coach for 12 years. He is now the varsity golf coach at Havre High School, a position he has held for the past four seasons. Evenson is also a past winner of the Havre City golf championship and a past president of the Beaver Creek Men's Golf Association.
