Andrea Anderson graduated from Northern in 1987 with a degree in Business Technology. She has worked for Northwestern Mutual Life and Baird Securities in Bozeman, MT, for the past ten years and is consistently ranked in the top 10 Montana agents and top 1000 agents nationwide for NML. She received that National Sales Award and the National Quality Award from the National Association of Life Underwriters. Anderson is a member of the local United Way board, is president of the Gallatin County Republican Women and vice president of the National Wild Turkey Federation, an organization dedicated to reintroducing wild turkeys into Gallatin County. She and husband Arron Wass have one son, Andrew, born in 1995.
 
Anderson holds three Skylight individual career records: most rebounds (909), most field goals (612) and the highest points per game average of 15.2 for four years. She also holds four individual field goals, and highest scoring average. Coach Loren Baker credits Anderson with helping make Northern a national power and leading her teams to four conference championships, earning all-conference and all-district honors.
