Story of the Dual
In their first dual of season, the No. 17 Lights fell to rival No. 3 University of Providence 15-25.  This was the first of two meetings between the rival programs.  At 141, No. 8 Matt Weber recorded the only fall of the dual for Northern, pinning Argo Jarren Komac at the 5:25 mark while true freshman Isaac Bartel upset No. 4 Jon Hensley with a 9-5 decision in the 197 match.

Match of the Night
The highly anticipated 157 match between No. 1 Brandon Weber and No. 7 Casey Dobson finished in dramatic fashion as it went into overtime with Weber claiming the victory on a 2-1 decision.  With the score tied 1-1 at the end of the fourth minute mark of overtime, the junior was able to escape and score the deciding point.
