Northern Dominates the Glass, Defeats Tech

Story of the Game
The (RV) Northern Lights held all but one Montana Tech players to under six points on the night as they defeated the Orediggers 75-55.  Four Lights scored in double-digits in the contest.
 
Stat of the Game
Northern cleaned up well on the glass as they collected 38 total rebounds to Tech's 26.  Senior forward Ryan Reeves tallied eight (three offensive and five defensive) to go along with his 13 points.
 
Turning Point
Montana Tech took a 6-2 lead in the opening minutes of action, but that was the last time they led in the contest.  Senior guard Charles Porter scored off of a turnover in the closing minutes of the first half to give the Lights their biggest lead of the half  up 30-16.  Northern continued to build upon their lead in the second half and moved ahead by as many as 25 points when junior guard Gabe Porter connected from downtown to put the Lights up 75-50 in the final minutes of play.
 
The Skylights So Far
Northern moves to 4-4 in Frontier Conference play and has an overall record of 15-6.
