Shiloh McCormick knocked down a two point jumper from straight on to put the Skylights ahead by one with 2:25 remaining. It was not enough though, as LC's Lady Warriors managed to escape the Armory Gymnasium with a 55-50 victory Friday Night. McCormick, who led all scorers, finished the night with 20 points, hitting 3-5 from beyond the arc and 5-6 from the line. Senior
Peyton Filius backed up McCormick, netting 13 points on 3-8 from 3 point distance, going 2-2 from the line.
Brandy Lambourne finished with 11 points.
Jessica Curl pulled down double digit rebounds for the Skylights with 10. The Skylights nearly kept pace with the Lady Warriors in the rebounding column, as they pulled down 40 boards to LC's 42. The teams finished even in the turnover margin with 14 apiece. Â
