Box Score Recap:
The Skylights showed some fight on Saturday night, but their skid continued as the fell 67-51 in the Armory Gymnasium. The Skylights got off to a rough start, falling behind by as much as nine with 5:06 to go in quarter one. With 4:22 to go in the first quarter, the Skylights broke off 11 unanswered points en-route to their first lead of the game at 14-13 with 9:21 remaining in the second quarter. During that sequence, Skylights senior guard Brandy Lambourne led the charge with 9 point to go along with a steal. The MSUN women kept rolling into the second quarter and managed to take the lead when Skylights freshman forward Tiara Gilham banked in two point bucket from the paint. That was the last the Skylights would see of the lead however, as UMW distanced themselves to a lead of 14 by halftime. The Lady Bulldogs were helped by totaling 7-18 shooting from three and out-rebounded the Skylights 34-22.  Lambourne led the Skylights in scoring as she dropped in 19 points on 7-16 field goal attempts. She has led the Skylights in scoring in three of the last four games. Senior wing Shiloh McCormick finished with 16 points on 5-12 shooting with two 2 three pointers, and went 4-4 from the line. Lambourne and Peyton Filius contributed 2 assists each.
