Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylight volleyball team traveled to Dillon to take on The University of Montana-Western in a Frontier Conference matchup Saturday night in Dillon.  The Skylights fell in three sets by scores of 25-15, 25-7, and 25-21.
 
Stars of the Match:
The Skylights were led by Mckaylie Tanner's 17 assists.  Emily Guiterrez and Abigail Ellison led the team in kills with 6 and 5, respectively.  Hannah Amtmann came up with 15 digs to lead the Skylight defense. The Bulldog offense was led by Kylie McCree's 14 kills.  Karen Kale added 25 assists, and Dylan Fowler was credited with 22 digs.
 
Stat of the Game:
The Skylights had a hitting percentage of .049, while the Bulldogs hit .368. 
 
The Skylights so Far:
Northern fell to 0-6 in Frontier Conference play, and 1-17 overall.  The Bulldogs moved to 1-6 in Frontier play and 5-12 overall.
 
Up Next:
The Skylights will again hit the road next week for a pair of conference matches.  Thursday, they will take on the Orediggers of Montana Tech at 7pm in Butte, and Saturday they will be in Lewiston, Idaho for a  2pm matchup with the Lewis-Clark State Warriors.
