Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights played on Wednesday Dec. 19 against Benedictine University at Mesa at the Phoenix Frontier Challenge. The Skylights won holding Benedictine to 35 points, as Northern scored 65. The Red Hawks outscored Northern in the first quarter 14-8, as Northern came back in the second quarter going into half with a lead of 26-16. The MSU-Northern Skylights won both the third and fourth quarter (24-22, and 15-8).

Individual Stats:
There were three Skylights in double figures on the night. The Skylights were led by
Allix Goldhahn, who had 17 points going 6-14 from the field with six rebounds.
Peyton Kehr had 13 points going 3-5 from the three point line.
Sydney Hovde had a double-double on the night with 11 points and 14 rebounds.
Gokce Aslan and
Sabin Keo each had four assists.

Benedictine Mesa was led by Grace Russell, who had 16 points on the night. Rebecca Herrera had 12 points.

The MSU-Northern Skylights shot a field goal percentage of 40, 27.8 from the arc, and 66.7 percent from the free throw line. Northern out rebounded Benedictine 40-26 with 16 offensive boards. The Skylights forced 19 turnovers and converted it in to 18 points.
