Peyton Filius helped give the Skylights the lead heading into halftime at 33-30. The Skylight lead lasted half of the 3rd quarter until it was relinquished by the Bulldogs with 5:06 to go in the third at 40-41. The Lady Bulldogs took the lead heading into the fourth and led by as much as six points with only 6:06 to go in the game. Back to back two pointers in the paint and a free throw by Skylight freshman
Tiara Gilham pulled the team to within one point at 40-41 with 4:21 left in the game. Senior forwardÂ
Kealani Sagapolu gave the Skylights their final lead of the night when she broke a tie score of 56-56 by hitting a free throw with :46 seconds to play putting MSU-N up one. The Skylights missed two 3 pointers in the last minute in their final attempt to earn a win at the Straugh gymnasium.Â
Tiara Gilham pulled down 5 rebounds and led the Skylights in scoring with a new career high of 14 points on 6-7 shooting. Senior swing player
Shiloh McCormick scored 12 on 5-14 from the field. Next in scoring was junior forward
Jessica Curl who put up nine points on a perfect 4-4 shooting in 15 minutes of action. Senior guards

Brandy Lambourne each accounted to for seven points and four assists on a combined 5-16 shooting.
Kealani Sagapolu scored six points on 2-5 shooting and pulled down three rebounds to go along with two blocks and a steal.  Â
