Story of the Match:
The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team met University of Montana Western in a Frontier Conference matchup on Saturday afternoon in Havre. The MSU-Northern Skylights lost in five sets (25-21, 21-25, 25-21, 20-25, and 8-15). The skylights stared off strong to win their first match. They were down 13-16, when the Skylights scored nine points to Montana Western's one point. Northern was able to pull out the win for the set. In the second set, the skylights started off shaky. They were down 15-22. Northern was starting to make a comeback, but fell short on a few points. In the third set they played steady to take the win. The last two sets the Skylights just couldn't hold on the win.

The Skylights attack was led by
Rylee Burmester, who tallied 23 kills with a hitter percentage of .164 and had 22 digs.
Hailey Warren accounted for 50 assists on the afternoon. Ellissa Lind came up with 20 digs.
The Bulldogs were led by Emmah Peterson, with 14 kill and had a hitting percentage of .367. Madison Richtmyer led the bulldogs with 24 assists in the match. Tannah Sellers led with 26 digs.
