Story of the Match:
The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team met RV Lewis-Clark State College in a Frontier Conference matchup on Friday evening in Havre.  The MSU-Northern Skylights lost in three sets (17-25, 21-25, 18-25). The Skylights had a slow start with the score of 6-2. Northern rallied back to outscore the Warriors 7-2. The Warriors pulled away and got the win. In the second set, the Skylights outscored the Warriors 8-3. The Warriors came back to outscore the Skylights 12-2 and never gave up the lead after that. In the last set, Northern and Lewis-Clark went back and forth until the Warriors went on a 10-0 run to take the lead.
 
Stars of the Match:
The Skylights attack was led by Shania Neubauer, who tallied six kills. Hailey Warren accounted for 16 assists on the afternoon.  Hailey Warren and Kaitlin Murdock each came up with 10 digs to lead the Skylights.
The Warriors were led by Brooke Kaawa, with 13 kills. Josilyn Remick led the team with 23 assists in the match. Gionni Brown led the Warriors with18 digs.

Stats of the Match:
MSU-Northern had a hitting percentage of .085 on the day, while the Warriors hit .239. The Skylights had five blocks to their three.

The Skylights so Far:
The Skylights drop to 6-15 on the season and 0-8 in Frontier Conference play. Lewis-Clark State College is now 5-2 in conference.

The Skylights will head to Great Falls to compete against University of Providence on Thursday, October 31. Match time is set for 7 p.m.
