Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights played on Friday afternoon in a Field trip day against No. 14 (DII) Corban University at 1 p.m. The Skylights held Corban to 43 points, as Northern scored 69. In the first quarter, the Skylights outscored Corban 22-8. The Skylights went on a 11-0 to finish the first quarter. Skylights went into half time up 38-19. Northern had a steady lead the rest of the game.
 
Individual Stats:
There were three Skylights in double figures on the night. The Skylights were led by 
Kenya Lorton, who had 17 points going 7-11 from the field and added four steals. 
Peyton Kehr added 14 points going 5-12 from the field. 
McKenzie Gunter had 10 points and four assists. 
Hailey Nicholson added eight points, four assists, and five rebounds.
 
The Warriors were led by Jordan Woodvine, who had 15 points on the night going 5-9. Shaelie Burgess added eight points and seven rebounds. Kendra Murphy added seven rebounds.
 
Stats of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights shot a field goal percentage of 44.8, 25 percent from the arc, and 81.3 percent from the free throw line. The Skylights had 17 assists to 11 turnovers. Northern forced Corban 24 turnovers.
 
The Warriors shot 28.6 percentage from the field, 20 percent from the 3-point line, and 70.6 percent from the free throw. Corban out rebounded Northern 33-29.
