Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights played on Friday afternoon against Northwest University at 2 p.m. The Skylights held the Eagles to 46 points, as Northern scored 74. The Skylights outscored Northwest three of the four quarters (24-10, 22-10, 20-14, and 8-12). Northern went on a 15-1 run to finish the first quarter. The Skylights increased the lead going into half time with a score of 46-20.

Individual Stats:
There were three Skylights in double figures on the night. The Skylights were led by
Hailey Nicholson, who had 16 points going 6-7 from the field. Nicholson also had four blocks and eight rebounds.
Tiara Gilham had 15 points going 5-8 from the field.
McKenzie Gunter went 5-10 with 14 points and led the Skylights with assists of five. Â

The Eagles were led by Sam Van Loo and Lexi Biggerstaff, who each had nine points on the night. Biggerstaff led the team in assists with three. Ellesse FitzGerald added eight points. Â They were able to turn Northern over 18 times.
