Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights played Southern Oregon University on senior night on Saturday afternoon in Havre. The Lights lost to the raiders 19-27. Northern tallied 422 yards of total offense (264 passing and 158 rushing), while the Raiders accounted for 427, of which 68 yards were on the ground. There was one sack in the game and four forced fumbles.

Northern quarterback
Brenden Medina went 17 for 24 through the air for 264 yards and rushed for one touchdown.
Jake Horner caught four passes for 140 yards and one touchdown, while
Bryce Bumgardner also had eight catches for 98 yards. Â
Jett Robertson carried the ball 14 times for 97 yards and one touchdown. Northern's defense was led by
Japerri Powell who accounted for 10 total tackles (nine solo) and one fumble recovery.
Jaren Maki added eight solo tackles and one forced fumble. Â
Southern Oregon quarterback Wyatt Hutchinson completed 27 of 40 passes for 349 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Running back Hykeem Massey carried the ball 11 times for 30 yards and one touchdown. Jordan Suell led the receivers with nine catches for 160 yards with two touchdowns. The defense was led by Collin Crown and Noah Johnson who each had seven tackles. Michael Chisley Jr. added six solo tackles and one breakup.
The Lights so Far:
The Lights drop to 1-9 on the season (0-9 Frontier). The Raiders are now 4-5 in conference play.
Up Next:
The Lights will head to Coldwell, Idaho next weekend for their last Frontier Conference game for a matchup with College of Idaho. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. Saturday.
