Story of the Match:
The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team played their last Frontier Conference game against University of Montana Western on Saturday afternoon. The MSU-Northern Skylights lost in five sets (20-25, 23-25, 25-21, 25-21, and 22-24). In the first two sets, Northern and the Bulldogs went back and forth until the end when Montana Western won. The third set the Skylights started to pull away outscoring the bulldogs 8-1 making the score 20-14. Northern was able to keep the lead to win the third set.

The bulldogs scored the first four points in the fourth set. The Skylights came back and scored the next five points. The Skylights were down 16-20, when they went on a 9-1 run to win the set. In the fifth set it was anyone's ball game. The Skylights just couldn't hold off the bulldogs as they hit the last three points to win the match.

The Skylights attack was led by
Tammy Maddock, who tallied 11 kills with a hitting percentage of .346.
Hailey Warren accounted for 49 assists on the afternoon.
Kaitlin Murdock came up with 35 digs to lead the Skylights.
Montana Western were led by Jessie Weber, with 14 kills. McKenna Fink led the Bulldogs with 28 assists in the match. Tannah Sellers led the team with 40 digs.

MSU-Northern had a hitting percentage of .094 on the day, while the Bulldogs hit .101. The Skylights had one more assist than Montana Western with 59. Northern also had 145 digs to Montana. Westerns 136.Â
