Story of the Game 
The No. 17 Lights played on December 7 in a Frontier matchup against Rocky Mountain College in Havre, Mont. The Lights lost to the Battlin' Bears in overtime 90-86. The Lights went into half up by four (44-40). In the second half, the Lights weren't able to keep the lead. Rocky tied the game up 60 all 8:26 left in the game. Adam Huse went to the line and hit both free throws to tie the game and put it in overtime. Rocky outscored Northern in overtime 13-9.
 
Individual Stats:
The Lights were led by Mascio McCadney, who had 17 points on the night going 8-12 from the field. Gio Jacksin and Jesse Keltner went 5-5 with 12 points and eight rebounds. Cedric Crutchfield added 11 points, as Devin Bray had 10 points.
 
Rocky Mountain College was led by Clayton Ladine, who had 21 points going 7-16 from the field and grabbed eight rebounds. Sam Vining had 20 points going 4-6 from behind the arc. Kelson Eiselein added 16 points, as Grant Wallace had 10.  
 
Stats of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights shot a field goal percentage of 46.2, 25 from the arc, and 79 percent from the free throw line.
 
The Battlin' Bears shot 53.2 percentage from the field, 50 percent from the 3-point line, and 75 from the free throw.
 
The Lights so Far:
The Lights drop to 6-1 in the overall season and 1-1 in the Frontier Conference.

Northern will be back in action in Chandler Ariz. on December 14 through the 17. The Lights play Arizona Christian University in their first game at 8 p.m.
