Story of the Match:
The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball played in the Big Sky Challenge on Saturday. . The Skylights went lost both matches. In their first match, the Skylights lost against Bethel University in four sets. (25-20, 25-15, 26-28, and 26-24). In their second match, they played Northwest University as they lost in three sets (14-25, 15-25, and 19-25).
 
Stars of the Match:
Against Bethel University, the Skylights attack was led by Elissa Lind, who tallied 12 kills with a hitting percentage of .303. She also added 19 digs.  Hailey Warren accounted for 15 assists on the afternoon.  Kaitlin Murdock came up with 16 digs, as Abigail Ellison had 14.

Bethel University was led by Payton Hart, with 18 kill and a hitting percentage of .180. Madyson Beaver led with 19 assists in the match. Bridget Downs led Bethel with 21 digs.

Against (RV) Northwest University, the Skylights were led by Elissa Linda and Abigail Ellison, who tallied 6 kills. Hailey Warren accounted for 18 assists on the afternoon.  Elissa also came up with 15 digs.

RV Northwest University was led by Hannah Lord, with 12 kill with a percentage of .417. Courteney Carr led Northwest with 29 assists in the match. Cristina Hegarty led with 14 digs.

Stats of the Match:
In the Skylights first match against Bethel, Northern had a hitting percentage of .006 on the day, while Bethel hit .152. 

In the Skylights Second match against (RV) Northwest University, Northern had a hitting percentage of .091 on the day, while Northwest hit .314.

The Skylights go to 3-2 on the season.

Next:
The Skylights will head to Arizona to play in the Arizona Christian Tournament. Their first game is on Aug. 30 at 5 p.m. and then again at 7 p.m. The game will be livestreamed, but it will cost money.
