Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights beat Valley City State 84-49 on Saturday in Helena, Montana. The Skylights came out hot outscoring the Vikings 23-7 in the first quarter. Northern was up going into half 43-24. The Skylights ripped open the game in the third quarter.
 
Individual Stats:
The Skylights were led by McKenzie Gunter, who had 23 points going 10-16 from the field and adding seven rebounds. Peyton Kehr added 20 points going 7-9 from the field. L'tia Lawrence added 15 points. Sydney Hovde added a double-double with 11 points and 15 rebounds.
 
The Viking were led by Dani Schwane, who had 14 points and four rebounds. Adriana Torres added 11 points and four rebounds. Taryn Dieterle led the Vikings in rebounds with eight.
