Story of the Game:
The Lights played on Friday night against Yellowstone Christian College in Havre, Mont. The Lights beat Yellowstone Christian College 86-64. The Lights were up at half 42-28. Northern kept a steady lead the whole night.
 
Individual Stats:
Northern had two athletes in double digits. The Lights were led by David Harris, who had 23 points (8-15). Mascio McCadney had 15 points and led the team in rebounds with six.
 
Yellowstone College was led by Chris, who had 19 points going 6-7 from the field and nine rebounds. Derrian Reed added 14 points and five rebounds. TJ Rivera added 13 points.
 
Stats of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights shot a field goal percentage of 47, 48 percent from the arc, and 87 percent from the free throw line.
 
Yellowstone shot 48 percentage from the field, 45 percent from the 3-point line, and 61 from the free throw.
