Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights lost to Montana Tech 63-55 on Thursday in Butte, Montana. The Skylights went into halftime down by two points (32-30). Northern only scored six points in the third quarter to fall behind 49-36. The Skylights outscored the Orediggers in the fourth, but it wasn't enough to win.
 
Individual Stats:
The Skylights were led by McKenzie Gunter, who had 17 points and five rebounds. Kenya Lorton had 11 points going 4-8 from the field. Peyton Kehr added 11 points.
 
The Orediggers were led by Mollie Peoples, who had 22 points going 8-13 from the field. Kaylee Zard had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Tavia Rooney added another double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

The MSU-Northern Skylights shot a field goal percentage of 35.7, 21 percent from the arc, and 64 percent from the free throw line.
 
Montana Tech shot 37 percentage from the field, 42 percent from the 3-point line, and 80 percent from the free throw.

The Skylights are 15-10 in the overall season and 4-9 in the Frontier Conference.
