Skylights Fall to Providence 3-0

Story of the Match:
The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team lost in a Frontier Conference matchup against University of Providence on Wednesday evening in Havre, Montana. The MSU-Northern Skylights fell in three sets (15-25, 16-25, and 20-25).

Providence jumped on Northern early in the first set, outscoring them 14-5. The Skylights battled back, but it wasn't enough. Early in the second set providence went on an 7-1 run take and extend the lead 13-7. The Argo's made more consecutive points to take the second set. The third set was Skylights best set, as they scored three consecutive points to make the score 22-20. The Skylights couldn't hold on, as the Argo's scored three points to win the match.

Stars of the Match:
The Skylights were led by Rylee Burmester, who tallied 17 kills and eight digs. Alana Graves added seven kills. Elissa Lind and Emily Feller led the team in digs with 10 each. Emily Feller led the team in assists with 34.

The Argo's were led by Jenna Thorne, who had 12 kills hitting a percentage of .286. Zoe Naugle added nine kills on the night. Cydney Finberg-Rober led the team with 40 assists in the match. Sacha Legros led the team with 19 digs.

Stats of the Match:
MSU-Northern had a hitting percentage of .125 on the day, while Providence hit .330. The Skylights had 37 assists, as the Argo's had 43. Northern also had 47 digs to Providence 53.
