The MSU-Northern Lights lost against Montana Tech 41-0 on Saturday afternoon in a Frontier Conference game in Butte. Northern tallied 146 yards of total offense (122 passing and 24 rushing), while the Orediggers accounted for 428, of which 190 yards were in the air.Â

Kaymen Cureton went 10 for 35 through the air for 122 yards.

Montana Tech quarterback Cad Wyany completed 8 of 13 passes for 113 yards and one touchdown. Running back Blake Counts carried the ball 13 times for 147 yards. Trevor Hoffman led the receivers with four catches for 92 yards with one touchdown. The defense was led by Naoki Harmer who had eight tackles. Bridger Johnson added seven tackles and two sacks.
