Lights Fall on Their First Road Trip 69-73

Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights lost Rochester University 69-73 in Rochester, Michigan. The Lights were down at the start of the game. McCadney made a layup to take the lead with 7:41 left on the clock in the first half. Northern extended the lead to nine at one point, but Walker Jr. hit a three-point shot to cut Northern's lead to three going into half time (36-33).

From then on, it was a battle until the end. The Lights were down two with :20 left on the clock and Walker going to the free throw line. He missed and the Lights were off the other way. Harris took a jump shot, and there was an offensive rebound. McCadney shot a three-point shot and couldn't knock it down. The Lights were forced to foul, as the Warriors made their free throws to end the game.
 
Individual Stats:
The Lights were led by David Harris, who had 28 points going 12-18 from the field. Macio McCadney added 21 points going 8-17 from the field. CJ Nelson led the team in rebounds with six. Jesse Keltner added eight points.
 
The Warriors were led by Andrew Kline with 18 points going 8-10 from the field. Virgil Walker Jr. had 17 points going 7-12 from the field. Noah Holley led the team in rebounds with six.
