Lights Fall Against No. 4 Carroll College

Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights lost to No. 4 Carroll College 73-71 on Thursday in Helena, Montana. The Lights took the lead by 10 points in the first seven minutes of the game. The Fighting Saints were able to battle back and take the lead with 8:56 left in the first half. They were able to push the lead to six going into half time (30-24).
Carroll kept a good lead the top of the second half. Northern made a good couple stops and score to cut their lead. Anthony Braggs hit a jumper to take the lead by one with 4:21 left on the clock. The lead wasn't for long, as Cook hit a three to take back the led. The Saints made their free throws to win the game.

Individual Stats:
 Northern was led by David Harris, who had 31 points and five rebounds. Mascio McCadney had 21 points going 9-16. Jesse Keltner added 10 points and nine rebounds.

The Saints were led by Javan Slijvancanin, who led the team with 22 points going 7-14 from the field and nine rebounds. Dennis Andrew Cook added 20 points going 8-10 from the field. Garrett Long added eight points.

Stats of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights shot a field goal percentage of 54, 35 percent from the arc, and 66 percent from the free throw line.
 
Carroll College shot 52 percentage from the field, 41 percent from the 3-point line, and 58 percent from the free throw.
