Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights beat to Montana Tech in the first round of the Frontier Conference playoffs 68-57 on Thursday in Havre, Montana. The Skylights had a great start, as they outscored Montana Tech 21-12 in the first quarter. The Orediggers went on a 15-0 to close the half taking the lead 31-29.
Northern went on a little run to take back the lead. Montana Tech battled in the fourth quarter, as they took the lead by one. Lawrence hit two big threes to take and extend the lead. The skylights went on a 14-2 run to finish the game.
Individual Stats:
The Skylights were led by
Peyton Kehr, who had 17 points going 8-11 from the field.
Syndey Hovde had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Tiara Gilham added 10 rebounds and eight points. Lawrence and Mooney also added eight points.

The Diggers were led by Brooke Heggie, who had 26 points and four rebounds. Mesa Williams added 14 points. Mollie Peoples added 10 points. Aubrie Rademacher led the team in rebounds with five. Â
