Story of the Match:
The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team played in a Frontier Conference matchup against (RV) Carroll College on Friday night. The MSU-Northern Skylights lost in three sets (26-28, 14-25, and 24-26).

The Skylights took the lead early in the set, until Carroll went on a 9-1 run to take the lead (19-15). Northern battled back, but was edged out by Carroll. The Fighting Saints started strong and ended strong in the second set (25-14). The third set was anyone game, as the Saints were able to pull of the win.

Stars of the Match:
The Skylights attack was led by Elissa Lind, who tallied 10 kills. Rylee Burmester and Alana Graves each had eight kills. Burmester also had 24 digs. Emily Feller led the team in assists with 34. Shania Neubauer led the team in digs with 22.

The Saints were led by Taelyr Krantz, who had 15 kills hitting .412 percent. Lexi Mikkelson added eight kills. Ali Williams led the team with 26 assists in the match. Julia Carr led the team with 24 digs.

Stats of the Match:
MSU-Northern had a hitting percentage of .109 on the day, while the Saints hit .172. The Skylights had 38 assists, as Carroll had 41. Northern also had 80 digs to Carroll's 94.
