Skylights Battle Against Providence 80-68

Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights lost to University of Providence 80-68 on Thursday in Havre, Montana. The Skylights got down big in the first quarter 27-12. Northern battled back to take the second quarter by two going into halftime 42-29. The Skylights cut the lead to seven in the fourth quarter, but Providence came back to extend 12-6 run to end the game.

Individual Stats:
The Skylights were led by L'Tia Lawrence, who had 16 points going 6-14 from the field. Peyton Kehr had 15 points. Sydney Hovde led the team with rebounds with five and added 12 points.
 
The Argos were led by Parker Esary, who had a double-double with 25 points and 12 rebounds. Emilee Maldonado went 6-11 from the field with 19 points. Reed Hazard also added 19 points.

Stats of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights shot a field goal percentage of 53, 36 percent from the arc, and 69 percent from the free throw line.
 
Providence shot 50 percentage from the field, 52 percent from the 3-point line, and 83 percent from the free throw.

The Skylights are 7-14 in the overall season and 0-7 in the Frontier Conference.
