Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights lost to Montana Western in overtime 85-78 on Thursday in Dillon, Montana. The Bulldogs pulled out ahead in the first half 41-35. The Lights went on 11-2 run to take back the lead in the second half. Montana Wester took back the lead, but it wasn't long for Northern to take back the lead. Stephenson hits a three to tie that game 69-69. The Bulldogs had a chance for two free throws, but missed them both. Harris was able to get a shot off before the buzzer, but couldn't get it fall pushing the game into overtime.
Stephens hit a couple big threes to secure the win in TO.
Individual Stats:
The Lights were led by
Mascio McCadney, who had a double-double with 27 points and 10 rebounds.
David Harris added a good game with 24 points going 4-5 from the three-point line. Tanner McCliment added 11 points, as
Jesse Keltner added 10 points.
The Bulldogs were led by Jalen Hodges, who had 21 points. Jamal Stephens added 18 points and led the team in rebounds with five on the night. Michael Havrefield had 15 points on the night, as Tanner Haverfield had 13 points.
