Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights lost against Montana Tech 73-0 on Saturday afternoon in a Frontier Conference game in Butte. Northern tallied 28 yards of total offense (86 passing), while the Orediggers accounted for 467, of which 258 yards were in the air.Â

Montana Tech quarterback Blake Thelen completed 10 of 14 passes for 256 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Ethan Renner carried the ball 17 times for 91 yards. Trevor Hoffman led the receivers with five catches for 124 yards with one touchdown. The defense was led by Ke. James-Newby who had seven tackles and one sacks. Blake Allred and Cole Wyant each had five tackles. The defense had six sacks and seven forced fumbles.
