The Lights Basketball Dominated In Home Opener Against The King's University

Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights won their home opener against The Kings University 108-59 in Havre, Montana. The game got off to a hot start for both teams keeping the game pretty close. With 6:19 left on the clock, Northern went on a 9-0 run to take the game by double digits. Micaiah Hauser who led the Lights shot 5-6 in the last six minutes of the first half. Northern was up going into halftime 50-33.The Lights extended the lead in the second half to win the game 108-59.
 
Individual Stats:
Micaiah Hauser had an outstanding performance for the Lights. He connected five of his seven threes tonight recording 21 points. Dae'Kwon Watson came out for the Lights shooting over 50 percent from the field with 17 points and six assists. Immaunal Anderson added 13 points, as Rogan Barnwell played nine minutes and had 11 points.
 
The Eagles were led by Cornelius Mingo Jr. with 16 points and six rebounds. Nicholas Gregersen had 13 points and six rebounds. Joshua Hamilton added 11 points, as Logan Den Oudsten had 10.

Stats of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights shot a field goal percentage of 48, 34 percent from the arc, and 72 percent from the free throw line.
 
The King's University shot 37 percentage from the field, 38 percent from the 3-point line, and 71 percent from the free throw.
