Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights went on the road to play Willamette University at Helena, Montana. The Skylights lost against the Bearcats 71-58. The Skylights executed there first couple plays to score the first five points. Imai hit a three-point shot to take the lead going into the second quarter 17-14. The Bearcats extended the lead by 12 in the second half. The Skylights cut the lead to six going into halftime 35-29.
Willamete shot 46 percent from the field and 57 percent from the 3-point line going into halftime. The Skylights shot 37 percent from the first and 28 percent from the 3-point line in the first half. Willamette kept a good steady lead in the second half to take the game.

Individual Stats:
The Skylights were led by Briaunna McCullough, who had 16 points going 7-15 from the field. She also added three steals and four assists. Savannah Toms had a great game with 16 points and six rebounds. Ryley Kehr added nine points and five rebounds.

The Bearcats were led by Carolyn Ho with 23 points going 6-10 from the three-point line. Megan River had 13 points and added six rebounds. Sami Riggs added 12 points and Ashley Collins led the team in rebounds with 11.
