Lights Hold Rocky to Nine Points

Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights lost against Rocky Mountain College 9-0 on Saturday afternoon in Havre, Montana. Northern tallied 63 yards of total offense (49 Rushing), while the Battlin' Bears accounted for 227, of which 191 yards were on the ground. The first half was a scratch for both teams. Rocky hit a 24-foot field goal in the third quarter at 6:53 left. Rocky tried for another one right at the end of the third and missed a 31-foot. The only touchdown that was made was in the fourth quarter with 2:54 left on the clock.

Individual Stats:
Northern quarterback Kaymen Cureton went 3 for 11 through the air for 14 yards. Mason Dionne rushed 17 times for 40 yards. Luke Triplett ran the ball one times for five yards. Northern's defense was led by Dylan Wampler with 13 total tackels (seven solo) and half a sack. Hunter Riley added 12 tackles with one interception. Lucas Thackers added 11 tackles.

Rocky Mountain college quarterback Trent Nobach completed 3 of 13 passes for 36 yards. Zaire Wilcox carried the ball 32 times for 86 yards. Zaire Wilcox had one catche for 16 yards. Cade Lambert had there only touchdown. The Battlin' Bears defense was led by Wes Moeai, who had six tackles 2.5 tackles for loss, and one sack. Dylan Beridon added six tackles. Barnett had an interception.

The Lights so Far:
The Lights drop to 0-9 on the season. Rocky is 6-3 in the Frontier Conference.
