Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights beat Bushnell University 90-84 on Saturday in Helena, Montana. Both teams were on fire in the first half, as Bushnell shot 53 percent from the field and 83 percent from the three point-line. Northern shot 45 percent from the field and 37 percent from the three. Northern was up by one going into halftime (43-42). The Lights pulled the lead to seven a couple times during the second half. Bushnell hit a couple shots to cut the lead to one, but Northern kept the lead tell the lead.
Individual Stats:
The Lights were led by
Jesse Keltner just shy of a double-double with 25 points and nine rebounds
CJ Nelson added 15 points going 50 percent from the field.
Tanner McCliment-Call added 14 points and four assists.
Dae'Kwon Watson added 11 points.

The Beacon were led by Stevie Schlabach with 24 points going 5-5 from three, and adding six assists. Spencer Hoffman added a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Trevon Richmond added 11 points and Alexis Angeles had 10.

The Lights head to Chandler, Arizona to play in the Cactus Classic. Northern will start off playing Hope University on December  17 at 12 p.m. They will play on Monday December 19 against Vanguard University at 10 a.m. Northern will play their last game in Arizona on December 20 against Masters University at 2 p.m.
