Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights beat St. Mary's University 84-67 in Havre, Montana. The Skylights jumped on St. Mary's in the first quarter holding them to nine points to Northern's 20. The Lightning cut into the lead going into half time 37-33. In the third quarter, the Lightning cut the lead to one, but Van Blaricom hit a couple three, McCullough hit a jumper to take the lead by eight going into the fourth quarter. The Skylights kept a stead lead the rest of the game.
 
Individual Stats:
The Skylights were led by Ryley Kehr, who had a double-double 24 points and 10 rebounds. Kehr also added seven assists. Shyan Krass went 68 percent from the field added 22 points and eight rebounds. Briaunna McCullough added 12 points and eight rebounds. Jalen Callender added 11 points.
 
St. Mary's were led by Andria Stitt with 19 points and five rebounds. Luiza Mendes added 17 point going 6-8 from the field and added seven rebounds. Jazmyn Kellogg went 5-13 from the field and added 15 points.
