Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights lost to Montana Western 77-72 on Thursday in Havre, Montana. Montana Western took the lead early in the first half. The Lights were down by nine, as Ruffin hit a big three and Harris made a layup to cut the lead to four going into halftime. The Bulldogs kept a stead lead in the second half, until the Lights went on an 8-0 run to cut the lead to two with 2:58 left on the clock. The Bulldogs hit some big shots to secure the game.
Individual Stats:
The Lights were led by
Mascio McCadney, who had 17 points and six assists.
David Harris added a good game with 13 points going 6-12 from the field.
Immanuel Anderson added 11 points and five rebounds.
Jesse Keltner added 10 points and led the team in rebounds with seven.
The Bulldogs were led by Jamal Stephens, who had 29 points going 10-14 from the field. Jalen Hodges added 15 points going 5-10 from the field. Max Clark led the team in rebounds with six and added 12 points.
