Story of the Match:
The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team beat University of Providence a Frontier Conference matchup on Wednesday in Havre, Montana. This was their first victory against the Argos since 2017. The MSU-Northern Skylights won in four sets (27-25, 25-22, 14-25, and 25-19).
The Argo's took a little lead at the beginning, as Northern went on a 7-1 run to take the lead. Providence came back to go on an 8-1 to flop the score. The Skylight stuck with it and was able to pull out the win. In the second set, each team put together some good runs to make the game go back and forth. The Skylights were able to dig their way out for the win.
The Argo's came out hot in the third going 8-0 at the beginning of the game. Providence kept their hot hand to take the set. The last set was anyone's game. The Skylights put together a couple good runs to take the match.

The Skylights were led by
Alyssa Pretty Weasel, who tallied 13 kills with a hitting percentage of .163.
Jessalyn Chvilicek added 12 kills.
Kaitlin Murdock led the team in digs with 26.
Emily Feller led the team in assists with 38.
The Argo's were led by Jenna Thorne, who had 10 kills and added 22 digs. Zoe Naugle and Eyann Eddins added eight kills each on the night. Bella Thompson led the team with 35 assists in the match. Thorne and Christensen also led the team in digs with 22 each.

MSU-Northern had a hitting percentage of .081 on the day, while Providence hit .078. The Skylights had 47 assists, as the Argo's had 39. Northern also had 90 digs to Providence 82.
