Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights lost by two against losing to No. 15 Montana Western 49-47 in Havre, Montana on a Thursday night. The Skylights got off to a good start taking the first quarter 18-13. Western outscored Northern in the second quarter 15-4. The Bulldogs extended the lead by 13 in the third quarter. The Skylights cut into the lead going into the fourth down by two.
Northern went on a 6-0 run to take the lead by fourth with 1:37 left on the clock. King hit two free throws to cut the lead to two. Northern missed a pair of free throws to push the lead. J. Momberg hit a big three with :15 left in the game to take it.

The Skylights were led by
Briaunna McCullough, who had nine points and six rebounds. Callender, Kehr, Toms, and Krass all each had eight points. Toms and Krass each added six rebounds.
The bulldogs were led by Jordan Sweeney with 13 points and seven rebounds. Mesa King added 10 points and nine rebounds. Shainy Mack had eight points.
