KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The reigning NAIA National Champions, Grand View (Iowa), start the 2023-24 season leading the country in the NAIA Men's Wrestling Coaches' Top 20 Poll. Life (Ga.) continues its hold on second place followed by Southeastern (Fla.) in third. Menlo (Calif.) and Campbellsville (Ky.) round out the top 5.
The MSU-Northern Men's wrestling program were picked 7
th in the NAIA National Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Lights return six National Qualifiers, two of which were All-Americans in 2022 (

th and
Austin Vanek 7
th). Northern returns 17 student-athlete this year. Last Season, the Lights took 15
th place last year at the NAIA National Championships.
There are six Wrestlers that are individually ranked in the top 25.

Martin Wilkie is ranked fifth in the NAIA National polls. He is a two-time National Qualifier and took second at the Cascade Conference Champion in 2023.

Devin Crawford is ranked eighth in the NAIA National polls. Last year, he was a national qualifier and took sixth place at the Cascade Conference Champion in 2023.

NaKoda Siegel is ranked second in the NAIA National coaches' Poll. He is a returning All-American, who took fourth place last year at Nationals. He was Runner-up at the Cascade Conference Champion in 2023.

Austin Vanek is ranked third in the NAIA National Polls. He is a returning All-American, who took seventh place. He took fifth place at the Cascade Conference Champions in 2023.
