Box Score Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights lost their first game in Hawaii against Eastern Oregon University 62-45. The Skylights had a slow start scoring nine points in the first quarter to Eastern's 18. Northern took the second quarter 16-14. The Mountaineers came out after half taking the third quarter 20-8. The Skylights battled in the fourth quarter taking it by two.  
 
Individual Stats:
The Skylights were led by Jalen Calander and Ryley Kehr who each had nine points. Shyan Krass led the team in rebounds with seven.

The Mountaineers were led by Bayley Bernnan with 14 points going 6-18 from the field. Brie Holecek added 13 points, as Beverly Slater added 10 points and 12 rebounds.

The MSU-Northern Skylights shot a field goal percentage of 26, 36 percent from the arc, and 66 percent from the free throw line.
 
Eastern Oregon shot 37 percentage from the field, 16 percent from the 3-point line, and 72 percent from the free throw.
