Skylights Fall at Buzzer Against Valley City State

Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights lost in last second shot against Valley City State University with a score of 68-67 in Havre, Montana. The Skylights took the lead at the end of the first quarter by Shyan Krass hitting two free throws. Northern pushed the lead to 10 points with 2:34 left in the game, as Valley City cut the lead to five going into halftime. The Vikings outscored the Skylights in the third quarter 21-16 to tie the game. Savannah Toms made a layup to take the lead by one with :11 second on the clock. Valley City missed a layup, as Rosie Anderson got the offensive rebound and made a layup at the buzzer.
 
Individual Stats:
The Skylights were led by Savannah Toms, who was just shy of a double-double 6-9 from the field with 16 points and eight rebounds. Ryley Kehr added 14 points going 5-11. L'Tia Lawrence, and Rachel Van Blaricom each added 10 points.

The Vikings were led by Hailey Roberts going 5-8 from the three point-line with 23 points. Adriana Torres had a double-double with 15 points and 11 points. Ashlyn Diemert who went 3-6 from the three scoring 12 points.
