Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights lost at the buzzer on senior night against No. 12 Montana Tech 64-63 on a Saturday afternoon in Havre, Montana. The first half went back and fourth as
Jesse Keltner hit a dunk to take the lead by one. Montana Tech hit a free throw to tie the game going into half time 32-32. The Lights shot 41 percent from the field and 2-11 from the three-point line. The Orediggers was 46 percent from the field and 2-8 from the three-points line.
The Orediggers pushed the lead to seven in the second half. The Lights tied the game up with 2:35 on the clock. Keltner dunked the ball to take the lead by two. Michael Ure hit a big three at the buzzer to take the game.
Individual Stats:
The Lights were led by
Jesse Keltner who had 15 points and nine rebounds.
Zackry Martinez went 5-9 from the field with 13 points.
CJ Nelson added 11 points.
