The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team beat Dickinson state University on Friday evening in Valley City, North Dakota. The MSU-Northern Skylights won in three sets (25-16, 25-20, and 28-26).
Dickinson State took the lead early in the first set. The Skylights went on an 11-1 run to take the lead and helped them push to take the set. The Hawks had a good start to the second set going up 12-7. The Skylights went on a 5-0 run to tie the game back up. The momentum for Northern followed through the rest of the game, as they won their second set. The third set was a battle until the end. The Skylights held on to win the third set to win the match.
