Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights lost against University of Providence with a score of 78-64 in Helena, Montana. The game started off going back and forth, until Carroll college went on 29-10 run to finish the first half. The Lights shot 30 percent from the field and 14 percent from behind the arc. The Fighting Saints shot 56 percent from the field and went 3-6 from behind the arc. Â The Lights cut the score to single digits right out of half. The Saints kept a good steady lead the rest of the game.

The Lights were led by
Zackry Martinez who had 18 points going 6-19 from the field.
JJ Thomas added 15 points going 6-11 from the field.
Xavier Bailey led the team in rebounds with eight.
