Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Light won in their season opener against Embry-Riddle Aeronautical with a score of 74-67 in Billings, Montana. The Lights went on an 8-0 run to start the game. They pushed the lead to double-digits a within the first half. The Eagles went on cut the lead to six going into halftime. Northern took the lead by double-digits against, but Embry-Riddle didn't quit they cut the lead to four. The Lights were able to hold on to take the game.

Leon Sayers IV went 7-8 from the field with 15 points and seven rebounds.
